Professor Eldon is kind, smart & witty. He combined theoretical and reality side to teach the class. He also allowed freedom for creative and critical thinking. He is the best professor in the faculty of Social Work that I have encountered so far.

This Prof is one who knows whats its like to be a student.He adds humour to the class and encourages participation. I found the papers a drag but hey its what the students want. I did come away with alot of knowledge and can say that if he was instructing more class's i would certainly encourage you to take his class.Everyone pass's the class.

The class was very easy, but extremely boring at times. Eldon is a wonderful person, but not a good prof. I personally didn't learn a thing, and the class was one big joke. If you want a good easy mark, i suggest you take this class. If you actually want to learn something, take it from someone else.

I like Eldon -a lot he is geniune and cares about his students. he is a no-nonsence kind of prof. overall highly recommmended. some stundents were very rude in his class which is unfortunate...well done Eldon guest speakers!!!!

Didn't earn a thing. I think he did not prepare for all his classes, just casual chatting. People don't like to learn will love his class. Absolutely crazy! No structure at all!! One of the worst prof teaching in this faculty!!!

Prof was friendly and approachable. He made me laugh more than once. The guest speakers were great, and provided information more uniquely than just reading a text. However, i would have liked the speakers to relate directly to social work practice. I had to infer alot. The assignments and grading were good.

his class was a joke. we spent mroe time on petty **** than we did on the subject. I didnt learn a thing. At the same time, its easy, and you will get a good mark no matter what you do. Its a toss-up really. Good marks, but no knowledge.

One of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. Excellent rapore with students still remembers what it is like to "write exams" Focuses on real life learning. If you have the opportunity to take a class from Eldon DO IT!

He is absolutley amazing. best sw prof i have ever encountered(in many yrs)has alot of guest speakers. deals w/ real expereinces. u learn alot! the best part is that in all of his classes the class gets to choose how the marks are distributed so you dont have to do assignmentss if the class can agree on just midterm and final and participation mark
