After 4.5 years at SJSU, this was probably my favorite class. The topic was interesting and the lectures were engaging. I recommend it to everyone. There is a lot of writing but it's not difficult to do! Take this class!!!!

I know she is not liked by all but she is a great teacher. She is passionate about what she teaches and knows her stuff. She comes off really stern and mean but she isn't once you get to know her. She is really easy and just ask that you participate and come to class prepared, ready to learn, and open minded. Take her if you learn by participating.

This is one of the worst military transition class I have ever taken. Did all my work and still got a "c". Take an actual class you need and don't take this class just so you can get your 12 units. You will need to get like 6 books just to do the homework. Don't waste your time, money and G.I Bill benefits on this class.Complete waste of my time

In my four years of attending SJSU, she is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. The topics are interesting, but her mannerism and attitude is horrible. She subliminally insults students and is very manipulative. Definitely does not know how to create a friendly classroom environment. Stay away from her.

Every time I go to her office hours for help, all I get is a lecture from her. She expects students to raise their hands to ask questions and when you ask questions she doesn't like she moves on. She has a tendency to mark off major amount of points for grammer and errors on all of the assignments. Content good, but professor is bad.

She is an amazing teacher! Her class is extremely easy (although her assignments ask for alot in a limited amount of pages). She loves her field and knows what she's talking about. She makes sure students know she is available for help. Show up, do your work, and try to talk a little bit in class and your set!

The class subject is great but Dr. Klaw is a joke! She says she's teaching against abuse yet she embarasses students in class and threatens grades based on assumptions if you dont kiss up to her! She's very manipulative to her students. The class subject is awesome and there is a lot to learn but should definitely be taught by someone else!

Prof Klaw is absolutely amazing, no joke! Her class has changed my life. She is a well-published, well-educated expert of the field. She rewards those who work hard and participate. Her assignments are very clear and fair. She does not have any tests! This class improved my communication/relationship skills and awareness+was very rewarding!
