She is a good teacher, she can be quite annoying at times. Sometimes she is hard to understand because of her accent and she talks softly so sit in front if you take her. She can say offensive things at times and she is always annoying people to answer her. She helps you if you need it and hates when you leave class early. She is ok; could be worse

Professor Rakova was not only friendly, she was helpful, offered tutoring services frequently, allowed a "cheat sheet" during tests, and she took a genuine concern to the students issues/difficulties i will be taking her again for mat 102, glad there are teachers like her:)

It is my second class with Dr. Rakova. I don't have any complaints. She replies my messages very fast and doesn't look bothered by my sometimes stupid questions. I don't like that she changes "dates due" even though she explains that it might be done by students' request. I like to plan my work ahead. otherwise, she is the best!

I took her class online. She sends you e-mails to remind you to take the tests. However, she always seems annoyed if you have questions about the work or if you ask her to clarify something. For example, she would post two different dates for when an assignment was due and then she'd get annoyed when I asked her which date was the correct one.

I took Rakova for Mat102 ONLINE. I've always been horrible at math, but let me tell you her online class was the easiest thing ever! I NEVER even bought the book, the explanations on the online work are good enough and I learned a lot from just that! Make sure you take notes from those explanations for the exams & quizes and you will be fine!!
