He has such a bubbly personality and he is super humorous and sarcastic! Overall the class consisted of a lot of labs that weren't impossible to complete because he allowed everyone to work together and he answered questions and helped if needed. He literally gives you the answers to the final the day before you take it and its super easy!

Heis mean to his students. But he does wants you to pass. If you're doing bad he would call you out during class. He only accepts good questions and if you have a dumb question he'll look at you crazy. He is a good teacher but a harsh character. Don't miss class and study your notes. Again he does wants you to pass his class. Participate in class!*

Comment:

Professor Sina makes astronomy class very entertaining. He tries to relate with his students and is very approachable during class. Outside of class it is very difficult to get a hold of him as he doesn't have a canvas account and his grading is very old school. I would recommend taking clear and good notes, he usually gives extra credit.

His lab book is only like 5 dollars, the labs are really easy. He basically gives you a small lecture that has most of the answers you need in the labs. Labs are like worksheets. There is only one exam, the final. The last class before the final he gives you all the answers to the final which is only 7 questions. Labs are like 1- 1 1/2 hours long.

The easiest science class. The only HW given was 3 questions to turn into the beginning of lecture. Every time you participate he gives you extra credit. Exams are really easy if you study the notes from test review days, he reads straight from the exam. I usually record lecture that day and type up notes.

His class is super simple to get down. Regardless of how much you like astronomy or not, he makes it easy to learn and will make it a breeze. If you have questions he will love you for asking them and will appreciate you taking the time to try and figure something out. The only homework is to ask 2 questions about last class you arent clear about.

Mr. Sadjadi is a great professor that will do his best to help you if you're willing to display the effort. I failed Astronomy 101 the first time with a different professor and passed his class the second time around. He's funny and like I said, he wants to help you but you have to put out the effort :)

Professor Sina is truly a great professor. You have to buy your lab packs if you take him for lab. Astronomy is difficult, but he explains it so well and helps a lot. You get to leave when you finish the lab which shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours. He is hilarious, and brilliant. Best professor I have ever taken at SWC.

I took this lecture and it was great. A lot to remember but as long as you take good notes you'll be fine. He gives you all the questions before the test so you know what to study for. Some of the things I had to google. He's really passionate. You will need a sense of humor & not take things personally.

Sina is by far one of the smartest instructors that I have ever had in my life. This man knows his astronomy and he has the knowledge to prove it. In my opinion, he teaches his class like a 4-year university class because his level of content is challenging. He will ask you questions in class for extra credit. Study over your notes every night.

Only gave us a few exams, but you have to study really well to get an A. He goes over the exam before he gives it, so study that and you can get a good grade. PARTICIPATE IN CLASS. Don't be rude and don't lie to him! Just do your work and put in effort and you will get the grade.

Participation really matters, he expects you to study so next day he can give extra credit points of the previous lecture. He can wander off of topic occasionally, but he's approachable. Don't be late for class. Ever. Trust me.

Professor Sina is passionate about Astronomy. I looked forward to coming to this class because I wanted to hear his theories on how the world will end. He makes Astronomy fun and likes class participation. Take good notes because you will need them to study for exams. No homework in this class!!
