She can be very hard to understand at times, her deadlines somewhat suck, and her style guidelines seem absolutely ridiculous. Overall tho everything she does taught me something valuable. I had to do alot of reading on my own but it taught me alot. Don't base it off what half the people here say about her. I reccommend Professor Adams.

Many people do put her down for being difficult sometimes. But she does help you if you take the time to be helped and put forth an effort to write code her way. Most people don't understand how difficult it is standing in front of a group of people and explaining something they may never have heard before. Take the class, you'll learn a lot.

She's rude, brief, makes assumptions, and belittles students. Her grading is tough and sometimes confusing and her exams always take longer than the time given. However, she does know her material and actually does care about her students. Try to get on her good side and it won't be overly bad. If you have a choice, though, get Nancy Harris.

Shes very disorganized...if you say you dont understand something alot of times she will repeat it louder and slower as her new explanation. She makes up new specs for her PA's after you turn it in. If she says its extra credit ..do it or u lose points. Tests are REALLY HARD and way too long for the time allotted. Ask any CS major for more...

So, I'm gonna prefice this by saying I've had her for 4 years now and so I may be tainted by the fact that I know her very well now, but she's not all that crazy as people say. She may be disorganized, she may have unclear expectations and guidelines, she may be a sticler on grades, HOWEVER she really does care about her students, and cares a lot.

Vindictive; intolerant; inflexible; her personal expectations make the coursework play second fiddle to meeting her rigid behavioral laws. With her attitude, she has no place teaching adults in a classroom--she would be better suited in a middle school. Since I already know SQL and am very fluent in database design, I can honestly say SHE HAS NO CLUE WHAT SHES TALKING ABOUT.
