Anne will go through all assignments in class to make sure everyone understands, and will basically give all of the answers. Is available for office hours and if you email and plan ahead. Midterm was almost identical to practice midterm, Final was almost identical to practice final. So go to midterm and final review and you will do great.

Im an Econ major and Wilman is one of the worst prof's Ive ever had. Her classes are the most boring dry lectures I have had the displeasure of sitting through. Im sure she knows what she's talking about but she is terrible at teaching it and simply flips through slide after slide of the same graph with slight changes and expects you to understand.

The textbook is kind of a brief overview of the material she goes over in class, so attendance is important. She tries her best to help students outside of class but this definitely was a class I worked hard for, so don't expect to slack off

One of the worst classes I've taken in university. She knows the material, but does a really poor job of presenting it. I worked hard, but in the end, I retained very little meaningful information. Really disappointed.

Classes were pretty much useless and in my top 3 of "most boring lectures" list. It was hard to use all the theory she taught to answer assignment/exam questions. Tutorials were very important if you want to do well. I wouldn't recommend the class if you can avoid it.

C. AVOID. I had 80% going into the final. Brutal final & class. Going to class was useless, up to you to figure out things on your own. No textbook, all powerpoints. Tutorials were awful. 3 long assignments (10% ea), 1 MT (30%) and 1 Final (40%). Wilman herself was nice, but the class was presented in such a bad way. AVOID if you can. Dreadful

I got a B. Wilman is pretty keen. I liked her, but it was hard to stay focused in class. The class itself had 2 midterms, 2 assignments and a final. The assignments weren't that hard, but some of the midterm questions were tricky. She is generous on the part marks. Lots of graphs and some math needed. Need to go to class and study. Not an easy A

Pretty good teacher. She is pretty generous with part marks. Midterms were straight forward, final was answer 4 out of 6 questions. Dont bother with the text book. Only way you can study is to go over tutorial questions and look over your assignments.

I don't recommend taking ECON 499.77 (environmental economics) with her. Stay away from her. Her exams and tests are hard. I think she shows that she knows everything, but she does not.

Excellent Prof and person. Seems 'not approachable'- but actually is very helpful. Tests and assignments were very fair. Go to class as the text book sucks.

She was a very nice person, but her lectures were frustrating because they didn't related directly to the textbook. I didn't learn a lot about the theory of economics, but more about the calulus and calculations. She did give practice questions that were almost identitcal to the tests, but going to class wasn't helpful

Her exam her exams are really easy if you come to class! Both the final and the midterm had question identical from the assignments, super easy! She may seem not approachable when you go talk to her, but she was always really respectful and will be nice with you if you care about the lectures!

Wilman was a good prof and very fair. She knows her stuff and gave many real world examples of topics we discussed. She was extremely nice to students and never disrespected anyone. I would take another class with her in the future.

Very friendly once you actually talk to her. Remember, she's the head of the department so she's very busy and it is nice of her to take the time to talk to you. If you talk to her and she seems aloof it's probably because she has a thousand things she needs to get done! It isn't easy being the boss of a department of opinionated economists.
