Gary is an awesome prof. Sure, his classes are a little boring, but he knows his stuff. I go just to see his sweaters and watch him stare at his 60's era plug-in clock.

I've had Dr. Munro 4 times, and so far, I've always gotten 80s. He's sometimes hard to understand often the lectures are boring, but I like taking his class. He's funny at times and he seems very smart. Advice: Go to class. He bases the exams on things covered in class, and barely on the textbook material.

His classes can get quite boring sometimes. Yet he is quite intelligent, really knows what he is talking about, especially his Canadian politics. Course requirements were hard to meet. Know what you are talking about in essays, get a good grade.

Dr. Munro's teaching style leaves much to be desired (ie. all lecture based, no overheads or textbook) but I still enjoyed the class. His dry sense of humour keeps things (dare I say) interesting. I'd definitely take another of his classes. Be prepared to do some research on your own to understand concepts better. Love the Montreal sweater(s).

He knows his Canadian Politics, he is very into politics, i can just picture him watching CPAC on a friday night. He repeats and overlaps, some students hate it, but i like it for remembering we have an entrenched bill or rights. He is funny as long as your not too cool to laugh at his jokes.

very knowledgeable and classes take on a conversational tone rather than a lecture. classes might be better if students offered more ideas during discussions. he takes a little getting used to but his dry wit is refreshing.

a friend in the class was so bored he made a chart to map out the stains on the Northern sweatshirt. he makes the lamest jokes ever, but he makes them funny. i love the class, i have learned tons. he is just very dishevelled.

He wears the same Northern sweatshirt almost everyday. The entire class falls asleep almost every class. You look around and all you see is people nodding off. One guy told me his tape recorder was useless, because all he heard was his own snoring.
