Love her! She gives lots of preparation for her tests with mini quizzes (Multiple Choice) worth 1% and assignments. Easy to understand notes with blanks that you fill in during class. Everything is on Blackboard & she usually sends out weekly emails with reminders for next class. Very clear. She reuses MC questions from notes in the little quizzes.

She has her own notes which is really helpful. For her class you have to study all the time either for Little quiz(LQ) or Big Quiz(BQ). 8 LQ 1% each & 2BQ 6% each, Mid term 30%, 5 assign 2% each, and a final 40%. She gave a exam review which is helpful. If you study, you will get a good grade.

Liz's lecture notes are thorough and provide everything you need to know for the exams. I have taken two classes with Liz and would happily take another. Gives you all the information you need to pass. (Not to say the class isn't boring - it's TAX after all).

Don't let her appearance and quick wit fool you. She's a good prof when it comes to structuring lecture notes and helping you with difficulties. The actual execution of her lectures in class is kind of a mess so I would rely more on self learning and just being in class as an info absorber. Long tests, mc quizzes, but all are easy if you study!

Liz is great! She's funny, and highly entertaining, which makes otherwise dry accounting lectures bearable. Her notes and pre-final/mid term review material is incredible, and the only reason I passed a course I'm quite bad at. Highly recommended.

Review seems good for other courses but definitely not for this one. No examples given, just runs through notes. 90% of the class does not understand. We are just busy using our calculators calculate whatever she is writing but who can't use the the calculator? She needs to make sure students understand and give scenarios. No diff studying alone

All you will need is Elizabeth's notes ''Amazing structured already''. The textbook itself is not needed majority of the time. The course itself is very straight forward. There are daily quiz on each chapter, the average for those are usually VERY low. The pro and cons for the exams is that it's very easy but so many questions...

She has great notes, not much of book use, no on-line exercises, basically you don't need a book, does not explain much, she reads her notes, fair marker, takes attendance, funny in her own way, puts students in alphabetical order when writing big quizzes and a midterm,

Use of textbook is high. For the final and midterms, Liz lets you use it. That's right, open book tests, but do not be mistaken. This class has a lot of little details which can throw you off. Also, online accounting assignments are about 10% of your grade. They are easy since Liz does and example in-class the week before the real thing is due.

she speaks too fast, but she is a fair marker and a humor woman. Although the assginment is too much, you still can get great grade if you study hard and do the practice exam. you will be fine. Accounting is so easy if you understood!

Excellent teacher! Her notes are amazing and makes going to class bearable as you will actually learn something. It will also save you from reading the text book if you don't have time. Take her for any accounting classes in your degree!!

Shes a good teacher. If your taking an accounting degree take her. Tests arnt too dificult and she prepares your for them. Her is kinda funny and makes class way less boring than it can be. Shes crazy in a good kind of way and cares about her students, if they care about their marks.

Excellent instructor. She gives a 10 question multiple choice quize every chapter, which I find extremely helpful! I went into the final with 87%, came out with a B+...I screwed up the final (my fault) haha. Her notes are the best out of all teachers. Just do the practice questions at the end of the chapters and u will do fine.

I've only relied on her notes and assignments througout the term. I dun use the textbook except for glossary references. She has her own "distinct" teaching style: loud and annoying. Try not to let her know ur name unless u wanna be harrassed incessantly.
