Dr. Johnston is tough and I can imagine it would be hard for non-majors. However, she pushes you to learn and is a wealth of knowledge. She is respected internationally for her research and has done a great deal of work for the UN. By far the professor I respect the most at Acadia and have learned so much from her both in nutrition and life skills.

This class has got to be the worst choice for an elective. The prof doesn't pay much attention to you, and really only cares about nutr.majors. Her testing is awful and doesn't match what she has taught. Horrible class.

RUN!!!!! Not very approachable, tests are rediculous, if you're not a nutrition major it seems as though you don't really matter that much. I lost a lot of respect for her in the second half of the nutrition course.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! RUNNNNNNNN... She knows her stuff for sure but don't take this course if you think it is going to be your elective! Nutrition majors or people who have taken biochem only! Tests are ridiculous!
