BAD boring professor who either has a hearing problem or straight up ignores questions. for notes she just writes single words or phrases up on the board and goes off on tangents about unrelated subjects. learned everything in this class from the workbook assignments that we had to do

History has always been my favorite subject and yet somehow this prof made me hate coming to class. I had a hard time staying awake as she droned on, somehow making the most interesting topics of American history monotonous and miserable. The only class I would ever recommend taking from her would be Counting Sheep: 101.

Nice lady but has horrible and i mean HORRIBLE hand writting!!! She gets annoying when she lectures because her voice sounds like a robot. She claims that she never receives emails for whatever reason. She's flexible with late work because you can claim that you sent her an email and she didn't get it.

How can you hate on Kessel? Seriously, it's too hard? Not really, the tests are mostly essay but if you do and study your workbook assignments you can just recite what you wrote in your workbook word for word. I got an A on every one of those joints. Plus, if you like history (I don't but I'm just sayin) this woman knows everything.

She is sweetheart and really loves History. She wants her students to do well. She does, however, have horrible handwriting and when she writes on the board everything is scrambled in random order. She can be hard to follow and a tough grader but she is ready to help you learn.

I absolutely love Dr. Kessel, I took her for His 211 and 212. She knows so much and she is so easy to pass...she literally teaches straight from the book...if you do the workbook assignments there is no way you can fail the class cause that's exactly whats on the test. She also always has the most interesting outfits.

Wow does she suck. I had to drop out because I was so confused and i never missed class. She talks really fast and doesnt have a visual of notes. Keeping up with doing the work book and writing papers was too much. I def wouldnt take her class.

Doctor Kessel was a delightful teacher. She was extraordinarily articulate, and knew absolutely eveything about history. If you say her lessons were boring, and that you don't like history, then I think you might think you like history a little more then you actually do. Kessel was pretty rad.

she'll make ya work but over all, it's not awful. in all fairness, though, i LOOOOOVE history and already knew what she was saying. it can get boring and a little jumbled. if you don't like/know history, find someone else.

ms. kessel is an extremely articulate and informed professor. she moves very fast in class and i recommend regular attendance. good summary notes help supplement attendance. she will gladly work with you individually to catch you up on missed or unclear topics. she is a very good unbiased reporter of american history.

Her class was vey easy if you turned in the assignments. A lot of hw, but she is easy to work with. She seems a little intimidating but she loves to talk one on one with you. This class is alot of work, but u feel like u actually learned something. I would definitely take her again.

she knew her history, but she was very boring. when you take her class you definately know your history, but she is a very harsh grader! her tests are impossible and she takes off points for minor details. i worked very hard and i am not a slacker i did my work and studied hard, and still i am getting a c in her class. about 60% of the class droped
