She is a VERY nice women once you go for help and really express an interest in biology. She has a good sense of humor and the class is difficult but rewarding. Always go for extra help and ask questions before quizzes. Tests are fine if you study 2 days before and do the homework on time. She is a fair grader and she is so smart!!

She's bad. She gets confused all the time and then confused everyone else. Don't go to her office hours, her bug eyes will scare the**** out of you. She's too smart and isn't good at explaining anything. Definetely don't take her.

You have to work in any Bio class, and Dr. Welnhofer (Hogan now!) is no different...but she's there to help, and she is great help! She's great to look up to b/c she won't have sympathy for you, you've got to make the effort and do the work, but she's an AWESOME teacher
