I loved taking ACCT 2230 with Prof Currie. He was an amazing easy-going and laid back professor. You don't need to go to class but I would recommend it because 10% of your grade comes from the online in class quizzes. To get a high mark in the course, do the practice questions that he posts online since the midterm and the quizzes are the same!

TERRIBLE. Makes fun of students marks in front of the class and basically calls them stupid . Is rude to all his students and has a temper issue and gets mad over small things and will waste 30 minutes of class complaining over nothing. Makes jokes then can be offensive to people in his classes.

Professor Elliot's class has been the best experience I've had at UCI. He cares very much about his students and is very approachable. One midterm and one final. Both are opinion based. Attendance and reading are not mandatory but you'll have less material to reference on tests which will hurt your grade.

Couldn't buy the textbook for the entire month of September because it was sold out. His lectures are all about solving problems from the textbook so stopped showing up after 2 weeks as I had no idea what he was doing. The midterm was marked incorrectly. No error carried forward, questions are poorly worded. Only course I have ever felt cheated in

Very knowledgeable and inspiring professor. Gives ton of life lessons and good stories, making the 3hr lectures bearable. Makes very little use of powerpoint slides, you have to actually listen to him talking and take good notes. Two easy essay exams for midtermfinal. Enjoyed his class very much, would take him again.

who DOESN'T like elliott currie? It's elliott currie... he is VERY interesting professor. Although he can go off tangent sometimes, he is still very knowledgeable and loves to provide students with opportunities outside of the classroom

One of the best profs I've had during my 4 years at Guelph. Seriously, more profs should be like him. He is very clear in what to expect for tests and he takes the time to make class interesting and relatable with lots of real world stories and experiences. The man seems to know something about everything. Definitely try to get him for acct!

Loved him! He's a very interesting guy and makes going to class worth while. Unlike my other classes, I never missed a class for accounting, and while I hated accounting, he made the material easy to understand and fun to learn. Great guy, wish he taught all my classes for sure!

loves to make conversation with his student, and once he knows who you are he is very generous is giving midterm and exam tips. If you do not do well on a midterm and find places where you thik you should have gotten marks bring it to him and talk to him about it, guarentee hell give you more marks! he is waaay better then bates!
