Comment:

I took both of her classes back in 2010/2011. She made me, a student who in high school made high C's and low B's in math pass both of her classes with an A and a B in her classes. I was able to go to all of her office hours, get help, and she would even check over my homework and let me know if I missed something. She was tough because she cared.

Comment:

This is the worst professor I have ever had. She failed one of my papers because it was wrinkled from running in the rain with it. Also deducted pointed because I did two columns on a page of homework rather than one. She is way to strict. I am a top student and very good at math yet she made it impossible to pass.

Comment:

Had her for 1324 and failed the first exam and made low C's and D's on the homework. I went to her office hours almost every other day after that for help and she was incredibly nice and was happy to help me. Very different than how she acts in class and ended up with an A in the class in the end. If you can't make her office hours don't take her!

Finite math 1324. Do not take this course. She goes over notes at her pace and expects you to know how she solved problems with no explanation. Homework everyday and examples she uses in class are much simpler than homework problems. Tests are also impossible. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

Finite Math 1324, First section of this class was difficult and I made below a 50 on first test but once you get the hang of class it goes smooth. She goes over examples in class for homework so notes are important. Second test I made an A so her class is passable. Quizzes will be added to test as extra points. I recommend her she is caring.

Worst professor I ever had! Even if you understood the material and knew how to do it a certain way and you got it right, it was wrong according to her!! She made you learn her way and it messed me up I ended up failing even when I tried going to her labs. She was so rude and uncaring to me. Avoid taking her classes if possible!

Tough course and tough professor. Ms. Campbell is willing to help if you visit her during office hours. The one-on-one time with her will benefit you. She might seem harsh or tough in class but she wants the best for all students. Be prepared to work hard. Bring your textbook everyday and do your homework. I also took her for MATH 1325.

Terrible teacher, a lot of students drop out very early. Test average is bout a 20%, if you make a 50 on her tests that's good. Too picky on grading and doesn't really curve tests. I would go somewhere else, DONT TAKE HER!!!

She is very particular about how she wants the homework done and seems rude in class, but she is very sweet and will help you out if you go to her office hours. Do not take this course if you tested out of college algebra, though. The course is mostly review so you need prior knowledge and to go over the chapters before class.

Struggled in her class at first but after attending her office hours I started making A's on everything. Once you figure out how she wants the work done it gets easier. She is one of the most helpful professors I had during the semester. However, if you cant make her office hours and get one on one help i wouldn't recommend taking her.

Seriously the hardest Professor I've ever had. Do not take her class unless you absolutely have to. If you do make it your priority. It is easy to get lost in her class and it can hard to catch back up. Go to her office hours. It's the only way to get real help from her. She's mean in class but can be a sweetheart in one on one situations.

Alright guys, So here is the breakdown for this class. She is very up front with you on the very first day. She says something along the lines of "If you are in here because you tested out of college algebra or something like that I strongly suggest you reconsider." This is true. Very true. I am a self-declared math wiz. And I dropped it.

Comment:

Campbell is extremely picky when grading and has rules that you must follow. If you're late to class by 2 minutes you don't get to come in because she locks the door. She is mean during class but is nice when you go into her office.
