Dr. Stewart is really great! Before taking his class, I didn't really hear good things about him from other students. However, I really liked him myself! He was nice, funny, and an effective professor. If you show up to class, and do your work, you will do just fine in his class!

I am the one paying YOU, Dr. Stewart, and YOU would not have a job unless I, and the rest of "YOUR" class, pays you. Also, very picky about format and speech length. Neither the real world nor my discipline cares this much. Various annoying idiosyncrasies

I have never felt compelled to write a rating of my professor before until now. Professor Stewart is, by far, the best professor I've had at Roberts. I've taken many classes with him, and in each one I've learned a lot and had a great time. Super fun guy with a lot of great stories & personal interests. He gives clear instruction and grades fairly.

Dr. Stewart knows what you're capable of, and you're not getting an A unless you deliver. Is he a little crazy? maybe. But you're getting what you paid for (educated) when you take one of his classes. My time with Dr. Stewart and Dr. Mrs. Berry more than prepared me for a grad program in Communication, and for that I am grateful.

He's okay. Educated, thought provoking, adds a bit of his own flare to teaching. Honestly, going back 10 yrs ago or so..I could have done without him. More Dr. Mrs. Berry and I'd be set, but she could clearly not teach all Comm. classes..or could she?? Anyway, I could have been more responsive to questions and learning in his classes.

Hands down one of my favorite professors! I was DREADING that class, because I absolutely hate public speaking, but he is such an interesting professor, I ended up loving it. You have to work harder than with the other speech professor, but it is SO worth is! :)

The class was interesting, but he wasn't the best teacher. I never knew how I was doing until I got the final grade at the end of the semester. He loves pop quizzes, which drove me crazy! Sometimes wrote the quiz questions on a napkin. We had to buy an extra book about media, read it, and do a paper. The presentation at the end we had to dress up.

As a person, I respect the man. as a teacher, less... did we ever butt heads! I've heard he's a great teacher for some classes, but I don't believe he should be teaching Prin of Speech! For what can be a life shattering fear for some, he takes no mercy. I've never found sooo many excuses for missing a class (all legit... i'm just glad i had a friend who kept needing rides to the hospital that semester!!!) Smart, oh yea! But in tuned to the needs of his students... well? Maybe not always.
