Took gen ed philosophy for engineers with her. She is very caring. Responds back to emails quickly. Liked the class but the class itself is based on 3 big papers to write. And the reason for the okay rating is because of the grading. It seems like she grades based on opinion but overall gives lots of feedback. So to recap tough grader. Easy class

Keeps the topic interesting with lots of videos showing examples of moral choices that Engineers need to make. Watch the videos, take the online quizzes, and spend time writing good papers and you will get an A. She is a very caring teacher and will work with you if you fall behind. Take it seriously, and she will take you seriously.

Elysa is a great prof. Her lectures are interesting, and she tells good stories. She does post the lecture powerpoints online, but you have to actually go to class to understand what she writes on them. Book is not required. She is very considerate of student's schedules and makes due dates around them. Only real work is midterm and final essays.

Ethics is so boring to me, so I had a hard time paying attention. There were only a few assignments we were graded on. The midterm and final being the big points. No textbook used, don't need to come to every class. She is very lenient and cool and tells great stories.

Very little homework. Will work class tests around student's other classes. A few online quizes along with online midterm and final. Her lectures are very interesting, and she helps connect old philosophy ideas in todays society. Great professor!

Prof. White's 104 class was very straightforward. Not too difficult, but you did have to put some effort in. She did a good job with elaborating on her slides. The midterm and final are both take home free response questions and the quizes are online, open book. But to score a good grade, you do need to have some sort of idea of what youre saying.

Great teacher. She really seems to understand engineering lingo. You can't go off of the slides that are posted, best chance to pass would be to go to class & take notes. all info is given in class. Great teacher, but you need to pay attention & not blow off class because you could miss valuable info. Very helpful teach with great communication

She is such an awesome professor. Very bubbly and personable. She tries to make the class very easy and understandable. Helps you out very much. I enjoyed going to this class everyday! She has power-points for each lecture that you can download off moodle and make your own side notes on. She lays everything out there for you.

Took this as an online summer class. A lot of work for a 100 level class and even though she seemed to be a fair grader I feel like she graded based on her opinion. Quick with emails and always willing to help. Not that miserable of a class but I would personally not recommend.

The class load is manageable for a summer course and shes flexible with due dates. She responds to emails quickly and is very clear about what needs to be in every assignment. The hw is kinda long but shes a fair grader. Dont turn things in more than 3 days late, she appreciates when you respect her time too. Great class, learned a lot

She made the material crystal clear and was very helpful, but the class material was stressful if you don't put the time in to understand it. Much easier to understand if you go to class rather than just reading the book

Very easy for a 300 level class. Grade was based on a midterm and final (both take-home) and research paper. Attendance was not mandatory, although by attending I found I didn't have to read at all because she went over everything in the lecture. Super nice and helpful professor, lectures are interesting if a bit rambly sometimes.
