Had this guy as my organic lab instructor and I'm glad he's only my lab instructor cause i feel like he'd make a terrible lecture professor. The lab is pretty easy though just make sure you do the pre-labs. Don't bother asking for help though because he probably will just roast you for not knowing it.

He moves really fast in lectures and it can be hard to keep up. I suggest taking pictures of the slides and reviewing the notes later on. Ask questions! His test are fair and grades looking for what you did right more than what you did wrong. He makes organic as easy as possible but you have to put in the time! Clicker questions everyday!

He is very intimidating, but his class isn't that bad if you put in effort. Study in advance for his tests and be ready to spend a lot of time on homework.

Goes through lecture material very quickly. Very terse and unapproachable. Likely to berate you. Don't bother asking questions. Seems like he burned out a long time ago. Go to class every day, because he has clicker questions that are part of the grade. Khan Academy will save your life.

This class is difficult and you will have to work, but Bosch does a great job teaching. The class goes fast and you need to be at every lecture because you get clicker points that total 1/8 of your grade. Additionally do all the home works online and in the book to help on tests. The bear claw will be your best friend so go and study weekly

He acts as if he is darth vader of organic chemistry! Dose his best to make you struggle, he ignores the emails! His PowerPoints are blanked not helpful, you have to write really fast because he is always on a hurry. Homework are useless!!! If you can't find someone to study with you will not do well. The materials are difficult as much he is!

Organic is tough, but he makes his lectures straightforward and will clarify anything patiently. He's there to help you if you need it, will help anyone who is showing effort. He has dry humor, and it can be hilarious at times. He seems intimidating at first, but ends up being a great professor. Really interested me in organic chemistry.

He is one of the best lecture instructors I've ever had. He's incredibly intimidating at first, but it's only to weed out the people who shouldn't be in the class. He has a dry sense of humor and often displays a tough front, but he is very helpful, very informative, and very straight-forward on what will be tested. Best instructor for Organic!

Dr. Bosch is a great teacher. He tells you exactly what you need to study so you aren't surprised by what is on the test. The tests have extra points built in also.

I took Organic 1 in the fall with a different professor and it was awful, then I had Bosch for the spring semester for Organic 1 and was like night and day. Bosch is an AMAZING professor, wish I would have had him first. He seems intimidating at first but he defintely knows his stuff.

I loved this class. Dr. Bosch is an amazing, thorough, and very intelligent man. Classes were interesting to listen to and I feel I came out of it retaining almost everything. I would, however, suggest that you buy Organic Chemistry as a Second Language as it bring everything together.

Organic is a hard subject, it should be a hard class, but he gives you all of the information you need and prepares you well while challenging you at the same time. He posts exams from past semesters for practice, goes through topics thoroughly so that you understand and just don't memorize. Some have said I am crazy, but I think he's got.<3Bosch

He is not at all a bad teacher and makes orgo as fun as possible. Posts tests from previous semesters as study guides. Also gives you hand written solutions to suggested problems from the textbook which was very helpful - saved me $100 !

best professor I have had yet. I had Bs in chm 160-175 and got mediocre Cs to Bs on all those tests. However I have gotten A's on all the organic chem tests because he is such a great teacher. If you go to class and pay attention and follow along you will get an A. Make sure you keep up during the chapters for his random quizes they add to 100 pts

He is an extremely helpful professor. I have never been that great in chem, but organic chem is SO much different. It is fun to learn and Professor Bosch will relate org chem to life which helps you develop an interest in the subject matter. He draws on the screen which is VERY useful. Great teacher! Study hard and you will be fine :-)

He will force you to learn a lot but his tests are ridiculously hard. I'm not a great chemist but I try hard but his tests are very long and detailed and he takes off for the smallest of mistakes or forgotten arrows in a mechanism. Also, he'll show up late to tests then force you to hand it in on the minute class ends! Don't take his dead day test!

I had Dr. Bosch for the lab portion of this class. He is pretty helpful and makes the lab go by as fast as possible. You can tell that he is very intelligent, and I would recommend taking his lab section for this class if he teaches it again. His hair reminds me of Einstein and his accent is pretty awesome too.
