He gives you a break in the middle of the lecture if it's a tu/th class, and he hands out $5 bills if you can answer a challenge question in class. Funny guy, extremely friendly if you ever catch him outside of class, and teaches fairly clearly. He will go out of his way to give extra credit and extra help sessions for struggling students

Nice guy but incredibly disorganized. You need to pay attention to everything or you'll fall behind and it won't be easy to catch up.

Overall a good prof. He's pretty funny, very nice, and does his best to convey the point clearly and simply. Sometimes a bit disorganized, but it's not terrible. He's also very easy to get in touch with outside of class. A lot of people think he's a boring prof but solving proofs are boring, period. Midterm was a breeze! No real complaints.

He's really unorganized and bad at lecturing. Don't bother asking him technical questions, he probably won't know the answer. Also, 281 is identical to 350! Do not take both! At least he's a nice guy :/

He is a super nice prof in terms of easy to approach, but pretty bad at lecturing. The notes are disorganized. The assignment is not clear and badly structured. But except for that, he is a nice prof... Just half way through the term, so I will come back if there is any change

Super nice and very approachable. Lecture is a bit all over the place but you can basically teach yourself to program using Google. Exam is pretty easy as it is an open book, and he uses questions from the previous midterms. Just make sure to be ready with codes and what not. Assignments and labs are graded diligently. Would take again for sure!

Overally pretty good prof. Pace is a little slow but he makes sure people understand before moving on. Always asks if people have questions and is always willing to help students through email.

Prof Eric is the epitome of old school grace and passion towards teaching. One just can't stop admiring that even afrer so many years of teaching he still goes out there and be genuinely curious about the subject matter. Love his blackboard style.

Pretty good prof, all things considered. He does stand in front of his notes a lot, but just work around it. Class examples semi-useful.

Not a bad prof. You just have to be able to write fast enough to keep up with his notes. And have xray vision to see through him while he constantly stands in front of his blackboard notes. But if you do manage to get some notes and understand them, he is a good prof.

Disorganized. Boring. You must pay attention in his class. Assignments are somewhat fair, tests are somewhat fair. Certainly not for the faint of heart or mathematic skill.

He comes to class every day with most confusing programs ever. However they always seem to work, i think he should clean them up some so people who arent comp sci majors can understand his theory.

Well...disorganized class I must not evade to mention. But he's really helpful, just give him some time to think! Assignments are fair, but that need time to understand what and how to do. Midterms are tough, but you'll get your marks back from the easy final.

Where to start... Disorganized, makes material harder and more boring than it should be, and worst of all there is almost no feedback in the class (few assignments that are retardedly hard and pointless). The solutions he gives for the assignments are sloppy and impossible to understand. Avoid this Prof!
