Her expectations on tests are absurd. She provided a list of over 250 terms to learn dictionary level definitions for on the test. In addition there were over 60 essay questions that she wanted to be prepared. Even for the brightest student this is a borderline impossible task. Avoid at all costs.

Gives extensive feedback on assignments and does so in a timely matter. Tests are unreasonable; review guide has 50+ different terms in which only 5 will be asked, you answer two. Essay part of the tests was similar (25-30 topics), two will be given, answer one. Very hard to study all the material given. Kind, polite and helpful during lectures.

Brilliant academic. Very caring and accomodating to different circumstances. Emphasizes attendance and it pays off if you come to class.The work you put in is the grade you will get, very fair. Lectures are a little bit dry due to the nature of a 3 hour lecture. Learned a lot about the political economy, great contemporary exemplification!

I am currently taking a course taught by Prof. Henders and what an impression she is leaving. Her lectures are very informative and her class is well structured. Because it's a 4th year class she strives to prepare you for grad studies. Amazing!

She was very helpful! In order to get the marks you have to work hard on your assignments. It pays off in the end as she is very fair! I really enjoyed this class.

Her class was tough but incredibly insightful. Makes you work hard but will reward you. Incredibly sympathetic, understanding and a *real* professor. Did degree @ Oxford - it shows. Bright, articulate, passionate, engaging. Couldn't ask for more. If you want an intellectual course with a fair prof. take this course and work hard.

I had a very bad experience with this course. Despite speaking with her on numerous occasions about the course she failed to recognize me. Further, the t.a. in the course is at best, a joke. He did not facilitate the discussion in any meanigful direction. Awful.
