I took his night class. There are 5 tests the whole semester including the final. They are all just multiple choice but if you don't study or take the practice tests he gives you, you won't pass. He doesn't actively check up on you but if you ask for help, he will. He's a fair teacher and I would recommend him.

He's good and much better than the alternatives. He only teaches every now and then in summer because he teaches at other schools but he should be full time at UNCC. He is clear on what he wants from you and if you work at it, go to class, and do what your suppose to you'll do just fine.

Uninteresting and LAZY. While VERY easy (don't buy the book, or even go to class; just do the practice exams online b/c he puts the exact same probs. on the exams with diff. numbers), he is also a huge know-it-all, although he messes up frequently and talks just to hear himself. If you want to learn anything, don't take him. Certainly a let-down.

Managerial Economics is super hard to begin with, but at least he kept it somewhat interesting. His examples are much easier to understand than the god awful book the school makes him use. VERY math intensive. I wouldn't recommend missing any classes. Grades with a nice curve. Very cute too!

He seems to get confused a lot and easily. Seems like a really nice guy, but isn't the best with the subject matter. Gave 10 minute breaks in a 3 hour class, but he seemed to lose a lot of steam and interest after the first break.

NO NO NO Never again would I take a class by this man. Maybe he teaches the more difficult classes more clearly? But I can tell you now, If you want a good grade in Macro, don't even think abou taking him. 130 ppl in the class average= 55. Doesn't know how to use a chalkboard, or grade tests. Very tough class. He makes you work for every grade. Plan on doing the homework and putting alot of effort into this class. He is really helpful if you see him after class. HEAVY MATH and no terms on tests. Big curve at the end.

Horrible teacher, needs to focus more on his studies than teach. Tons of math and very little econ theory. Very unclear when teaching makes a lot of mistakes when teaching. Tests are very difficult and class is one big math problem.

people in my class told mr taylor that the reason they took him was because they heard he was easy...MORONS!! You don't tell a teacher that, especially a Phd student, now his tests are much harder then before. He's not so easy anymore! nice guy, though!
