Absolutely one of my favourite professors. Probably one of my favorite teachers ever Amazing man. Funny. Tough assignments. Cared about how you understood the problem more than the final result

Superb! Probably the most famous profs one can get in UBC FIRST YEAR!I believe he's gonna derive the entire field of classical physics in class if it's not 107. Makes physics super fun. Too bad he's no longer teaching..we were his last year...

Dr. Vogt is an amazing person. He's turning 80 this year, but it certainly doesn't seem so. Our lectures are most often filled with uproarious laughter. As his student, I am so proud to say he's my professor and I truly appreciate his love for teaching. Crazy tactics to enhance learning. I'm more persuaded to major in physics. Thank you Professor!

Just wonderful. All other lecturers should sit in on some of his classes to learn how to teach. Besides being a great teacher and having a very agreeable personality, he also has like a dozen degrees and really knows his stuff.

He is an absolutely amazing man, he loves physics, and inspires his students to have the same zeal. He is by far my favourite prof this year. He is also one of the few profs who actually tries to learn the names of his students, and will ask people specifically durin the class if they are following.

Honours physics isn't an easy program, but with Dr. Vogt, it sure is a fun one. It is a great pleasure to have a professor that is both good at teaching and truly passionate about his subject. Mind-blowing and wacky antics are a day-to-day occurance.

He's an amazing prof, cause he loves it so much. My only complaint is that he tends to cover some concepts too quickly, and assumes that we can all figure it out. By the way, he retired long ago, but he still teaches this course, out of the goodness of his heart!

You may love this professor, you may only like him - but I urge you to enjoy his class and make the very best of it. You'll have good chem prof's later, or you can have them again, but you only get one crack at this one. He only teaches on course, and he's the best at it.

One of the most helpful professors ever. He took a direct interest in helping some of the students that seemed to be having problems, like me, and prodded us so that we did our work. Hard work, but rewarding.

Had this guy twelve years ago, can't believe he's still around! He was already retired back then! BTW, he rubbed shoulders with all the greats: he was taught by Einstein and worked with Feynman. Ask him to tell you some personal stories!
