He is such an amazing person! He really cares about all of his students. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to take his class. The quizzes and tests are online and not timed, so you should use the notes you take in class and the book to do them. If you do that it's an easy A.

One of the most amazing teachers I have had at Las Positas. His lessons are very clear to understand and he makes them very exciting. Write down notes from his lectures and purchase his textbook and you will pass easy a. No group projects and no pressure to talk to anyone in class.

Comment:

Best professor I have ever had. When I attended his full-time retirement party I found out this man has changed lives . He is the reason I want to pursue neuroscience and showed me that this was my true passion. He offers so much extra credit and cares deeply about every student. You have to try hard to fail. Take him any chance you get.

Ernie is the best teacher at Las Po! He's very knowledgable & funny. His class is an easy A. As long as you show up and take notes, you'll pass the class. The quizzes are online and are strictly from the notes you take as he's lecturing so make sure to take notes in class. Very flexible and understanding. I highly recommend taking Ernie's class!!

I could tell that Dr. Jones really cared about his teaching and his students. He is very knowledgeable in psychology. Show up, TAKE NOTES, and take the online quizzes/test. And go to the extra credit lectures (very interesting). I highly recommend Dr. Jones!

Love, love, love Ernie! I honestly wish there were more classes I could take by him, however I have already taken all the ones he offers at Las Positas. He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to psychology and he really cares about his students. Tests are all online and not much homework for all of his classes. Amazing teacher!!!!

Earnie is easily one of my favorite teachers that I've ever had. Every lecture is interesting and easy to understand. He cares about his students and their grades and gives many opportunities for extra credit. He is super understanding and will work with you to best help with your success. Such a nice and funny teacher! He kept his lectures interesting and is able to answer most questions students have. Quizzes and midterm are taken online and there are a lot of extra credit opportunities. Just show up and take notes and you are all set. You won't regret taking his class!

Super nice and sweet! He's very caring and he truly cares about his students learning not about making their life difficult. He makes lectures very interesting and he is truly passionate. Great professor, knowledgeable and caring. Also took Abnormal Psychology with him. You learn a lot and laugh a lot as well. He always has some anecdotes and funny stories to tell. Quizzes are done at home with an open book, same for the midterm and final. He also wrote a book that we use for his class on the Brain, Mind and Behavior

Ernie Jones is the best psychology teacher I have had at Las Positas thus far! Being a psychology major, he really engages with the students and makes it a fun topic for everyone. He cracks these jokes all the time in class making it a nice and easy going environment. LOTS of extra credit opportunities, online hw, and online quizzes! EASY A!

I took Psychology of Sleep and Dreams with Mr. Jones and I absolutely adored it. Lectures were interesting and the quizzes were easy. He also provides a lot of extra credit opportunities. Pay attention in class, take notes, and you should be good.

Go to class for attendance and take notes based on his power points. He only assigns Quizzes and Test which are all taken online based on the power point and textbook. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities so take advantage of those. Other than that pretty straight forward class.
