Such an awesome teacher. Never got an A in a math class til Mr. Dunn. He is extremely helpful and goes at a pace that everyone understands. Fair in grading and keeps his students motivated. Great Teacher!

this professor is great. very clear with all of his directions. he is the type of professor that wants to see the entire class get an A at the end of the semester. He gives so much one-on-one time during the lab hour. during class, he answers all questions fully and makes the class enjoyable. if possible... GET HIM FOR ANY MATH CLASS YOU MAY HAVE!

I took this class in summer. Mr Dunn made Math seem so easy! He allows notes on tests, breaks everything down so its so simple to understand and allows you to make up labs and homework. I highly recommend taking his class, especially if you aren't good at math. He truely wants his students to do well. Lab time is also optional.

Dunn does a very good job of explaining the material so that everyone understands. Homework is given every night and labs every other week, but he accepts late homework and lab corrections which is very helpful!Study guides for each test and review class period is very helpful! Such a great math teacher!!! Highly reccommend you take him for stats!

I HATE math. However, Dunn breaks it down to those who dont quite get the language of stat, so they will get it. He is never rushing lecture and always makes time to explain in clear detail. Awesome guy, awesome teaching method. HW every class which he grades, lab assignment every other week (step by step excel guide). Accepts late hw. TAKE HIM!

You would be so lucky if you got into his math class. His actual name is Bill Dunn-not william dunn. He is so nice. Math has never been easier-since I took it with him. I got an A because I went to class everyday. You get to use notes on your test. He rocks. SO EASY. You wont regret taking this class. He's so nice and very helpful!

he makes the material seem easy. i enjoy math so his lessons made more sense to me than others. he explains the lessons different than the book, but its probably easier that way. the final is optional. he gives out study guides that are almost EXACTLY like the tests. if you need a college level math, this is the teacher to take

This was my first time taking a self-paced math class and I'm glad I took it with Mr. Dunn. Unfortunately, he's now retired but I believe his assistant is still there, who was also helpful. It was my first time getting a B in math.

One of the best math teachers I have had so far, I hate math and i struggle horribly with it and he's is the only teacher that I have had who actually takes the tme with his students to make sure they actually understand whats being taught! I love that! More of the math teachers should be like this!

Mr. Dunn is really wonderful!!! I didn't get to finish the class but he was there for me in every step of the way encouraging me. As long as you work hard and show up, he will be there for you!!! I miss him already!!! I also had him for Math 107X and didn't finish, but he was so kind. LPC lost a great teacher when he retired!!!!

Awesome teacher. Very helpful with everything. Gives great examples on how to solve problems. Labs are very straight forward. Practice test before each real test is EXTREMELY helpful when the time comes, especially for the more difficult sections in the book. Had a blast in the class. Sad to see him go, wish him the best in the future.

obviously i had an easy math class open lab its not like he was lechuring me so i had it easy. all i know is i passed and i never asked him for help but i know if you do he is willing to help you. just make sure that you take the tests on time or he will have to have a talk with you

Dunn was great. I'd heard horror stories about stats and w/ Dunn it just wasn't the case. If you do your hw and pay attention I don't see how you could not get an A. He even lets you have notes for the test. Probably one of the best teachers I've had at Las Positas.
