classes were boring, but all you had to do was take notes and study them. this was an easy class and you can get an easy B if you go to lectures. do not buy the book because it is not needed. i only got 16 dollars back and i boughtit for a lot more.

this is the easiest teacher i have ever had. Don't listen to the other ratings. All you have to do is go to class and take a hlaf page worth of notes. Sooooo easy 2 tests which are the easiest tests I have ever had, the tests are the notes, the books is 100 percent not needed. study notes is all.

Professor Meadows, may have been a boring teacher and sometimes hard to understand, but he was passionate about his music. He loves nothing more than Jazz and you can see his passion during his lectures. Although many people feel hes a horrible teacher, he's fair and the tests are easy!Very healpful

Listen to all us wise students and DO NOT buy the book, I got only 11 dollars back for it but bought it for a lot more. That book seriously collected dust and I got an easy B in the class. The man is crazy and reallllllllly boring, but knows a lot about music. Still, the class is pretty easy.

The first couple of weeks, I thought, "What is he talking about?" It gets easiers once you figure him out. A paper (3-4 pages) due every week. Not especially helpful, unless you go to him in person. A nice man, but sometimes hard to understand his speech.

He teaches African music that is totally off track from what 151 should be. He mumbles a lot and it is very hard to take notes. Don't take him!
