Went to every class and took detailed notes from his "colorful" lectures- I got an A- (even without the book). He has a mouth like a sailor, and I loved that about him!!! Encourages students to get their hands dirty/motivating. Gene really knows his stuff.

Prof. Jaworski is a knowledgeable expert and passionate about his field. Not the greatest teacher unfortunately. Go to class, take lots of notes, read the handouts, read the textbook, and if possible record the lectures. His swearing was amusing to some.

I am taking an Environmental Assessment class with Professor Jaworski. The pros: I'm learning a lot and I'm motivated to pay attention and work hard. The cons: You need to write down his lectures verbatim, because that is what will be on the test and if you're not familiar with geography and physical science, this class will difficult for you.

Good professor but can be hard. Makes you work and can tell if youre not working hard on research papers and projects. I worked very hard in env. assessment and got a B+. learned alot and had fun though . when I got my first geology job took time to talk to me about it between his classes. cool guy.

Big Gene is the one of those people that will crack you up with not even trying. He'll be serious about something, and even have a point, but for some reason it makes you laugh. He don't even know why you're laughing, and thats the best part!
