Great guy. Tests are relevant to the material and not too hard if you prepare well, although a little long. Easy quizzes if you can memorize a couple terms and names of people. Just do his study guides and study his powerpoints for an A or B. The paper is a little hard, but he is a fair grader. Overall, a pretty good choice for this GE class!

Ok so I heard this guy was amazing and the best Rel102 teacher.... While he is definitely a **** outside of class, the class itself is HARD. It's long and boring listening to stories of archaeological digs in Egypt and names like Jezebiah and Hezekiel. I loved the guy, dreaded the class and EXAMS sucks too

Good teacher. He makes all of the material very interesting with stories from his archeological digs. He doesn't force any kind of doctrine but makes you question what you believe or have been taught. I enjoyed this class. No surprises on test but a lot material. Pay attention in class. I wouldn't say his class is like showering with a monkey at all...its more like a sponge bath. He's funny and his tests are appropriate (never confusing). He teaches objectively - giving both sides of the bibles 'history'; which is awesome!
