Comment:

Super sweet guy, very charming in his own Yooper, awkward way. Explains things well. He writes his lectures as you go through them in class, which slows him down. Get him for discussion-- he is extremely helpful and tries his best to make sure everyone turns in the correct answers on the quizzes!

what a sweet old(ish) guy. he showed us his chickens once. best day of lecture ever. My tips to you: -do the practice problems -review HW for tests -ask if you have questions -don't cram your homework (it's weekly; get into a schedule) -use the formula sheet provided (i forgot about it 1/2 the time & it if u have it u can just plug in stuff)

Nice prof! Very helpful at office hours and in discussion. Lectures are alright, he's just not out there/wild/loud so may be hard for some to stay focused. Same day, same time, every week an assignment is due. Exams are tough, but lots of cushion from lab, lecture, homework, and discussion. Really like the guy, he wants his students to succeed.

He lectures by writing out notes which is very helpful so you can keep up. But he does not post them so it is essential to go to class. He will teach you everything you need to know for exams. He is very willing to help so stop by his office if you don't understand something.

Great professor. Very clear and super approachable. DO NOT buy the book, he gives hundreds of practice problems and homework which will appear on the exams. Didn't touch the book once and still got an A.

He is a great lecture professor. He encourages questions and will try to help you understand the material. If you still don't get it, he is more than happy to sit down with you until you do. Not tricky either. Test questions are really straight forward. Knowing the material is a must. I recommend anyone who needs CH112 to take it with Wickenheiser.

Great teacher, really takes an interest in students. He may seem very monotone at first but once you get used to his lectures you will learn he provides you with all the necessary material. He tends to run out of time during lecture and possibly exams so be aware of that when taking the exams that you may feel rushed.

Very helpful and nice guy! It is a little bit of a difficult class, but he explains it well and will help you if you don't understand. Attendance is not taken, but I reccommend you go to class every day.

But he runs through material really fast, not with a lot of clarity, which i found hard since I'm not a chem major.Great guy, very smart, genuine and considerate. Although his quizzes are very hard because he throws loops at you. if your a freshman i recommend Getman for chem 111

I had him for discussion and found him very helpful. He would sometimes have to go back and correct mistakes he made, but it was never detrimental to my understanding of the problem. He was very kind outside of class and made chemistry enjoyable. I'm not sure why, but he reminds me of a Yooper Carl Sagan.
