Dr. Plach is a very interesting lecturer. She is definitely always there to help if you need her or anything, and she loves what she does. Overall she's a great prof, despite one thing: she is the hardest marking prof I've ever had.

Dr. Plach is one of the best professors at Laurier! She has high expectations of students, but is willing to help out in whatever way possible, so it is possible to do quite well. Undoubtedly one of the most caring professors. She knows an incredible amount on Eastern Europe, and is a great lecturer.

She is a fantastic lecturer and extremely intriguing however very hard marker. I attended all the lectures and did the reading but still did very poorly in the class. He is also very approachable. If you put the effort in it will be worth it to take her class.

Dr.Plach is a very nice person. She is very approachable and helpful. She likes to see students succeed. If you're looking for an easy load though, don't take her classes because she expects A LOT of work and dedication from her students.

one of if not my favourite history professor at laurier. shes especially helpful if you are having problems registering/picking courses/planning out your year. SO nice and helpful and understanding to students problems and situations. extremely easy to talk to and gets back to you quickly!! great lecturer and a great person!!

She is probably one of my favourite profs. She made the material interesting. Somewhat of a hard marker, though I did better on the paper she marked than the one our TA marked. Final exam wasn't overly difficult if you attended most of the classes.

Her class was really fastpaced, and there was a lot of information to take in but she managed to keep it interesting. She seemed to really care about her students, and made herself really available for any questions or concerns. I would definitely take a course with her again.

She's hands-down my favourite prof at Laurier. She's a good lecturer mixed with understanding and reasonable toughness. She's willing to treat all students as adults, with the only requirement is that they treat her back with the same respect. Highly recommended.

Eva Plach is the female equivalent of the MAN! she is an amazing prof and person. When I have questions about anything at all to do with Laurier I email her and ALWAYS get a response back within a day or two at the most. Friendly and interesting as a lecturer and is very easy to understand and follow. Very organized and prepares you for the exam!

A true *teacher* at heart. She’s willing to give time and energy to her students as long as you ask. All the lectures were clear, the course was very well run, and it was an enjoyable experience to attend class. I will definitely take another class with her again if I can.
