If you ask him a question because you couldn't catch up he answers with a loud/shouting voice as if raising his voice would make the concept clear. Not clear on Assignments and very strict on submission dates. Bad attitude prof, wouldn't recommend for Tele networking course nor Linux.

Even though Fadi Shalabi might sound like a strange name, this prof is great. He's pretty funny and is fairly good at engaging the class. One thing that I'd change is that he sometimes has long lectures, but since it's Linux that's expected. As long as you pay attention in class and do the assignments, you should be fine.

Get ready to read and listen to lectures. Dont bother studying from his notes. All the test are from books study that and you should be good. Test are tough but assignments are easy marks. But he is a nice prof

Surprised to see so many positive reviews here. I guess people don't mind being talked down to or condescended. If you ask a question, it's always "of course" or "of course not." It's not so obvious to the person asking the question. He treats you like a child if you miss a lecture, asking you where you were.

He's extremely nice and honest about your questions. He tends to lecture a lot, though the lectures are well structured and most importantly will prepare you for everything on the tests. He is an amazing teacher. If you ever get an opportunity to be one of his pupils, i would highly suggest you take the chance.

Fadi is an excellent instructor. He is direct and precise and gives you the tools to succeed in his class including excellent lecture skills and style.
