worst prof I ever had. teaches straight from the book and can't offer any help outside of class. i proved that the textbook was wrong once, but she stood by the book without giving an explanation, possibly because she couldn't explain it in english. another time when i asked for help, she just printed out a HW solution for me and made me leave.

I had Fani as a student in Ireland,got an A in database systems from her,the lectures went on a bit,but in tutorials she explained things very well,and worked through examples. We did find her first name kinda humourous ;-)

Dr. Zlatarova is a very very nice lady and deeply cares about her students and wants to help in anyway. I don't know much about programming but I was able to follow along in her class and learn stuff I never thought that I could. Sometimes I felt lost in class but she helped me and in the end I got an A in the class.
