Comment:

Vibrations is notoriously a difficult class and he doesn't make it any easier. Often seems like he wants to run through the material as fast as possible and get out of class. If you're looking for a half decent teacher this isn't him. Zero part marks so have fun. Class average after the final was a 1.7 GPA. Avoid at all costs.

Comes to class unprepared and tries to show example problems that he comes up with but then after spending 15mins realizes he's made a mistake somewhere and tells us that we can figure it out ourselves. Explanations are rushed and doesn't post any notes for students. Isnt a fan of part marks either. Has extra office hours for students though

good teacher. He cared about students, and he was usually accessible. the exam questions are mixture of 2,3,4 problems from the book, so do them and understand what you are doing. He corrects the exams very well. if you attend you learn faster and easier but if you skip you will still be fine by reading his notes and the book.

Dr Waiz knows what hes talking about. This is not an easy class, but if you go to class, do the homework yourself you should be fine. (Isn't that what you are supposed to do anyway?) He is always willing to help, he spends a lot of time at school so it is not hard to set a meeting. You have to go to his class, because the book is way too boring

One of the best profs!Lectures are great. Presents the material much simpler than the book so go to every class! He goes through the thinking process with you teaching you how to approach a problem without mindlessly using formulas. Has a solid understanding of the material. Tests are reasonable but not easy. There for students answers any question

Not prepared for his lectures.Makes questions on the spot with random numbers which ends up with nonsense answers! Not fair in marking, if you do not get the final answer you may lose A LOT! -messy on the board -does not know how to use PowerPoint, projector or anything remotely related to technology- Boring lectures-

One of the good profesors of Concordia.He always like to help students during lectures,office hours and even during the exams.If you want to really learn take him.His exams are not too difficult but not too easy.Hia notes are crystal clear and if you don't get it by once.He is there to repeat it for you as many times as you need!

This guy is not fair at all. His exam format was terrible. Although I did my best in this course, I got a B since most questions in the exam were short answer ones and he didn't grade the steps. In addition, this guy doesn't give partial marks. So, he is not a fair professor.

Comment:

No offense, but most of the negative reviews are written like they are coming from people who are now probably studying fine arts. He's not a perfect professor, but in a department of absolute garbage teaching (with a few exceptions) he's the lesser of many evils. The course is very interesting too, if you have any automotive knowledge.

A teacher who will not help someone if they won't help themselves which is perfectly fair. He seems lazy and uninterested, but so is everyone else. He tries to teach you what you will actually need to know, not all that fluff stuff that won't be anywhere near the test. If you want someone to pat you on the back don't take him.

WOW!! so far he is the best teacher i had in Concordia. He gives very good lectures and very helpful if u don't understand something. His grading is very fair and exams r reasonably challenging. I really recommend him :)

Excellent professor.Smart. He doesn't just copy answers to problems from a manual - he actually goes through the thinking process for us out loud, doesn't skip steps. Listen carefully, you'll see his explanations are crystal clear. He'll always answer questions, never turn a student down. Problems solved in class are often on exams, so go to class!

Dr. Ahmed is a big thinker! He pauses in the middle of the class to think about nothing. Do not trust him when he says "We can finish class early if we don't take a break", especially on Friday nights. The books and him are somewhat useless. Good luck if you must take him!!!
