Comment:

This teacher's a non-native English speaker, so he talks really fast, making it very difficult to understand what he says throughout the class. The worst thing he does is get mixed up in his sentences and it confuses people. He doesn't really involve the class honestly. He teaches the way he understands it, not from a perspective of the student.

Comment:

Nice professor, but the class entailed 30+ pages of lecture, 4 chapters to read at a time, wasn't very helpful ("just read the chapters, it will explain thoroughly"). The worst class I've ever taken. I had someone outside of class (an economics major) explain a specific chapter to me, then I understood it. C- due to curved grade.

Professor Saboori spends most of his classes "lecturing" without room for participation or questions. If you ask a question, he says "look at the book" or "I don't have time for questions." You will need the textbook, a calculator, probably a tutor and most definitely the help from Jesus himself to pass this class.

I had Professor Saboori for ECO207 and BUS210. I've never struggled in either of his classes. You need to attend every class and pay close attention to lectures. There are not many grades, but no pointless busy work. He can be scattered at times, but he really does know his stuff and he does a lot for you, you just have to put in equal effort.

Hard to understand and doesn't teach. Doesn't complete sentences. If you go to his office for help he just tell you to read the book. Very poor with helping his students and expects the student to teach themselves. I would not recommend this teacher.

He's an awesome professor- willing to stay after and talk to you until you get it. Most people are lazy and don't care to learn so they don't like him. He's one of my favorite professors at Albright and although Albright has a crappy business program, he and the other business professors make up for it. Take his if you are serious about your future

I think he is very nice and helpful. You can tell that he loves economics and his passion for it, makes me want to learn. I usually hate economics, but he's actually able to keep me awake for the entire two hours.

Comment:

Dr. Saboori is extremely well-versed in economics and seems to have a passion for the science. His mastering of econ theories and applications is obvious. Economics itself is a difficult subject to grasp unless you are so inclined so his classes appear to be hard to beginners but think he sincerely does want his students to "get it" and to succeed.

Dr. Saboori is a very nice teacher with a genuine desire to help students learn. His teaching style, however, can be scattered and hard to understand. He can sometimes complicate already difficult material. On the bright side, he is always available for extra help and holds review sessions, which I found to be extremely worthwhile.

He is a good teacher, but is not very clear with what he wants in his projects and is a tough grader. The office hours and extra (optional)class he offers for extra help is good to go to and very time worthy. Tests can be hard, but if you read the chapters and study his notes it is helpful.

Very, very unhelpful. Very defensive when asking questions about assignments. Tests are hard and count for too much of final grade. I really have no idea why he is still there and why he teaches so many courses, it's a shame we have to pay tuition to teach ourselves out of a textbook.
