Listen, participate, read, and you'll be fine. If you want the easy way out, this is not the professor for you. If you enjoy a good time while learning and take business learning seriously like me, definitely take him! Every Econ student should take him because you'll know your stuff before taking intermediate.

Nourzad is a very kind and dedicated professor. He really wants his students to succeed. Two exams, two projects, three quizzes, and the final. He helps prepare you for the exam my telling you the questions to focus on. First exam is easy and they progressively get harder and the final is very difficult. Recommend, but not necessarily an easy A

Dr. Nourzad is one of the best professors I have taken at Marquette. He is passionate about economics and is always available for you. He wants you to do well. Online quizzes, two projects and 3 exams. Do the end-of-chapter problems when studying for exams! Study lecture notes before taking the online quizzes. I highly recommend taking him.

Took him for Money, Banking, & Monetary Policy and all I can say is I wish he taught more undergrad econ courses because I would take every single one. He's hilarious, always interesting, and it's clear he loves to teach the subject. The class isn't too difficult either, I had no trouble getting an AB. Highly recommended.

One of the best professors I have had at Marquette so far, and by far the best for Econ. Really passionate about the subject and makes class enjoyable to go to. Class wasn't too difficult, and I learned more about economics with him than in any other econ class here.
