What a joke of a professor. Attendance was extra credit and gave us a test that was extra credit. Teaches right out of the textbook and is real easy. Test's arent too bad but if you get C's on them you will end up with a B no problem.

Very nice old professor! Attendance is mandatory and the text book was way more helpful than his notes. 4 tests that are worth equal wait (includes the final). Gives an extra credit test that can be up to 50 points extra credit. Overall not a bad class!

Great old man. He was really nice and happy to teach macro. only 4 tests. they were all easy and curved. no homework and class wasn't mandatory. i thought it was a good class. but im pretty sure they pulled him out of retirement to teach my class so i don't think he is around to take. too bad, cause he was a good teacher.

He doesnt really teach just reads out of the book, so I basically had to teach myself. Like other comments say his test is tricky but he curves. Always lets us out early but overall okay class if you teach yourself from the book

i have a three hour night class with him, and we always get out early. his tests are a bit tricky, but if you study, they're not as bad. he's pretty clear with his lectures, and he does pretty much teach from the book so if you miss something, you can just look it up after class. i'm pretty glad that i got him ( :

Thank god the man is retiring but i dont know why he is being paid. He copys his test from the book company and the book is the only thing you need for the class. He talks about nothing and enjoys it. Reminds me a lot of Harry Carey when Will Ferrall impersonates him!

Don't bother taking notes, just read the book. Curves the tests. Not the best teacher, but after failing it once before, I was happy to have a prof who actually knew what he was talking about and wasn't out to prove something. Retiring after the spring term.

Doesn't go over anything that is on the test. You are never in class more than 30 mins. Doesnt take attendance so stay home and read the chapters. Overall, its an easy class. Curves the test by a letter grade. Its an easy B. I would recommend it.

i am probably changing my major now bc he has made me hate econ so much. he doesnt teach ANYTHING but then gives impossible tests. im a straight A student, and I studied for 4 hours and only got C's and b's on the tests. GOOOOD LUCK

wouldnt recommend him. any notes you take in class are useless. has 4 70+ mc tests that are hard as balls. his tests are from the book manufacturer. you can study on his website that the book gives him, but each powerpoint chapter has from 97-138 slides.

stay far away from this teacher. he gives u maybe 2 lines of notes all class, then gives u 75 question MC tests that have nothing to do with the small lectures. hes a nice old man, but the class is impossible. FIND A DIFF. TEACHER

cute little old man - tests are rediciously HARD - but he curves it (one or two letter grades). Lectures only on general topics - little notes. Coming to class doesnt help - save urself some time and stay home - read the book and do online quizzes. overall very diffucult to get a good grade in class
