Best Professor. Took him at a different college for Acct 101, he really helped the students understand what they were learning. Open book/notes tests so we didn't have to memorize everything but still needed to understand what to do with the information in the books. Highly recommended!

Took in Spring 07, cool guy. Let us do corrections on first test, group on second, and open book final. You must attend class and pay attention, and do the homework. He will tell you that the tests are VERY similar to the homework. Good teacher to take for this class.

If you don't follow along, you won't learn anything. I got lost in his class and ended up behind, but I still got a good grade because all of our tests were in groups, and we were able to revise them. Also, the final was open book, open note, and in groups! Very easy class to pass, he's a nice guy too.

Great Professor, best I have had a Towson. He wants nothing but to help you pass, he lets you do group tests and remake. Lectures are never dull as he tells real life stories of his job....He's a great professor and would HIGHLY recomend him....The class is still difficult but he makes it much better....really enjoyed his class

Alper is a pretty good professor. He is always on time for his 8am class and he explains material pretty well. He has a nice friendly personality and he shares real life stories and teaches real life accounting. His test are not hard. He lets you correct them and resubmit them for extra points. Go to class and do the homework and you will do well.

amazing! i was so nervous about taking this class at first. he explains everything so clearly. the tests may be tricky. if you do the homework and study the homework you should do fine on them. if not, he lets you take it home and correct all the answers you got wrong for half credit! i highly recommend him!!

nice man, not a hard class if you have ever taken accounting before. Doesnt explain topics very well in class, kind of choppy. Is understandable with tests...attendance doesnt matter but i reccomend going. Collects hmwk once in a while.
