Comment:
He uses the text, and gives additional questions. If you read the book do the RATs,and make sure you understand the material you will do well. You do not have to go to class but he sometimes give questions on the exam that he mentions in class. Study the additional questions, they are the exact type of questions on the test but read the questions carefully!!!! THEY are NOT the same questions!!

Good teacher. His class is not to difficult, as long as you study. All of the tests are open book and he usually curves them so the average is around a 73. Study, sit near the front,do all of the homework, and take ALL of the notes he puts on the board and you should do decent in his class

This teacher is so orthodox and boring that not even 25% would show up for the general lectures. Even though he curves grades and helps everybody, he just does that so he can pass the people who at least understand something out f the book. I don't understand who a princeton PHD sees that his students' average is a C- and does nothing about it.

Good teacher. All of his tests are open book open note, and instead of using power point he writes the notes out on the board. Don't be fooled by the open book open note on the tests though, they are really hard and require that you pay attention in class, but he usually curves the tests so the average grade is a 73-76. study and pay attention.

I've always loathed science classes and this professor only made me dislike it even more. In a huge auditorium he still speaks softly and it's difficult to hear him. He jumps around so much that I hardly ever follow along. It's impossible. And on a huge whiteboard he writes tiny. The tests are pretty hard so just make sure you study hard.

Very intelligent teacher but I had a hell of a time keeping up. Class was in a auditorium and if I sat any further than 3 rows back his lectures were inaudible. 4 tests and one final (which are not open book/note) are your entire grade. Homework isn't graded but definitely helps.

Your grade is based on 4 tests, which you have 5 questions on it. The tests are do-able. You have homework questions that you can do but are not collected. In class, his notes are all over the board and he speaks fast --so at times it is hard to understand what he is saying.

Fair teacher, test are open book and note, but dont be fooled, they are not easy. Grade was from 4 test and curved to average of 70. Brought my 83 average up to an 88 with the last test becuase of the curve. I would recommend if your are intrested in the material.

Teaches way to fast and you don't understand a word he is saying. He drifts into a new chapter without warning. I tried teaching myself and almsot failed every test. But the homework will save you and by a miracle I passed with a C. Avoid this class!!!

He's really smart and really nice. He is very difficult to understand and speaks very quickly. You will NEVER have an open note test in his class and his tests are pretty difficult. Almost all tests are essay too.

He was a great teacher, however he went so fast sometimes I couldn't understand him at times. Instead I did not show up to class and studied from the book instead. This gave me an A- and his tests were directly from the book and open notes.

Yes, I took this over the summer, but one minute he'll be talking about chapter 6 then teach something from chapter 3. There is no way in HELL to follow along, I would avoid at all costs!!!

Awesome clarity, really nice to work with. Tests are pulled directly from examples in class and homeworks.
