Overall, he's a good teacher. 3D has never really been a strong suit for me, but as long as you do the assignment and make it look like you've made an effort, you'll pass. Lots of buying your own art supplies though, which kind of builds up fast...

Didn't seem to really "like" me all that much. 3-D Design isn't my passion (design is), and of course that showed, but I worked hard. For the grade. He seemed to resent that and treated me "accordingly." Grading was difficult, but I got an A by essentially working my ass off. *shrugs* Whatever.

Fisher is a great professor. There is really nothing he can "teach" in sculpture but he is a tremendous help to students trying to get their idea out. If you need a 3-D credit take him...you'll enjoy it

I took one of Fisher's classes my senior year several years ago. He taught me how to weld. He was always available for help, and his passion for art shows in his teaching. He does NOT play favorites, unless you show up expecting an easy A. Duh...
