Nice person in general, but awful professor. He's very hard to understand, doesn't understand what you ask him, is unclear about assignments and provides basic information. Some things on the exam were not discussed in class, so get ready to learn on your own.

Dr. Lee is hands down the worst professor I have had at CMU, I learned nothing in his class. He is hard to follow in class since he just reads slides that he prints from the book without adding any real explanation and the moves them before you can write everything. Then the whole class is based around a group project with tons of papers.

Professor Lee is a fantastic individual that knows how to treat students right. If your having trouble in the class, go to him and talk to him. He will be there for you. Accessible outside class, and is just a caring person in general. He doesn't speak english well, so just keep that in mind before you take him.

Mr. Lee is a really nice teacher who tries to help but is not always very clear or does not understand what you are asking. Some of the test questions are straight from the practice quizzes at the end of the chapters, the others are from lecture notes so don't miss class. The only frustrating thing was assignments that he didn't explain well.

So Lee was a nice human being but the class teaches you absolutely nothing. I got an A, and all it took was a minuscule bit of effort. However you should go to class or else you won't know when the projects are due because he changes stuff all the time. If you want to pay over 1,000 dollars to learn nothing, Lee is for you.

CPS 282, perhaps one of the easier classes I have ever taken. So long as you show up, you will easily pass. Mostly the class consists of labs and occasionally lectures. Do NOT BUT THE TEXTBOOK. We never even used it once. His PowerPoints are on BlackBoard. Do not expect to get much information from him or this class.

He doesn't really understand the material, but he's enthusiastic to "try" even when he has no damn clue what he's doing. I basically taught the class, but I had people turn in assignments that didn't meet any requirements and he gave them 710. Easy class.

Does not know what his doing at all. Every time someone asks a question he either ignores them or cant understand them and choose to walk away. I would suggest ANYONE but him fora CPS class. P.S Buy the text book it will teach you more than he can.

CPS 280C is only available for junior year or higher students. However, Lee taught the class at a freshman level. Spent almost the entire semester going over the very basics of C++ programming. Barely even touched on object-oriented programming. His class is a waste of money and time, unless you are just looking for an easy A.

Really cares about his students, but is sometimes difficult to understand. He jokes and is enthusiastic about the subject, but sometimes a lecture is more about his life that the subject. While he is sort of deaf, if you email him or visit during his office hours, he won't give you the answer, but will help you through a problem. Read the book!

Pretty fun guy, not a bad professor. His hearing and English are both a little rough, but he knows what he's doing in front of a keyboard. You'll learn a lot from him if you pay attention and attend the labs.

Roger is a really nice and funny guy. He is pretty much useless when trying to learn the computer programming material. He talks about his own life a lot and doesn't explain much at all during lectures. If you go to him for his office hours he may offer a few tips but don't expect much. Expect to read the book and use the internet a lot.

Roger is a nice guy but that's all I can really say that's good about him. It is almost impossible to follow him during his lectures, he provides very little constructive help during labs, and tends to get caught up focusing on something that he's already explained instead of covering new, more difficult material. I do not recommend him at all.

Horrible. Do not recommend at all! If you ask a question he just smiles and laughs and explains some random BS that usually has nothing to do with the question. Hard to understand and he definitely does not understand any question asked. Take another teacher for sure.

Dr. Lee is a nice person, unfortunately his english is very poor. Upon asking him a question his response is usually repeating what he said a few minutes ago even if your question was about new genetically enhanced pigs that can fly and the material was over how to use do-while loops. Sometimes in class he may go on rants about his prior life

Roger is a nice guy, just pretty much legally deaf. His english isnt bad but there are lots of times where he doesnt talk loud enough. Debate your test grade and you will get at least 2 more points added. Programs are pretty easy. Tests are MC, Fill In, and writing programs

He's very enthusiastic about the subject at least. He's about 90% deaf and never understands your questions. Pay very close attention to what he says the first time, debate your test grade, and do the homework and you should be just fine.

Knows what he's talking about. He wants you get the most out of his lectures. He gave about 4 SOS's during the semester so we could evaluate him, and he was really good about doing what we said on them. It can be difficult asking him questions sometimes because his hearing is bad and his English isn't always the best.
