Floyd Sutherland is an amazing professor! I did have him for QMN222 before and he still an amazing professor. He gives examples in classes that are similar to quizzes and mid-term. If you do the homework and come to classes every day, then you would not have a problem of getting a good mark

Amazing Professor! I think he is the only one that care a lot with his students learning in class. Classes aren't dull and he is humorous. Won't regret taking this class. I struggled a lot because I missed a lot of classes but he still helps. Just listen to him and do his practice questions and you will be good!

He has been a great mentor and a very nice person to have a conversation with. He is very much inspirational and tries his best to help his students achieve the best. Overall, one of the best professors in Seneca.

Floyd thinks he's funny, so his classes include a lot of cringe humor. I didn't enjoy him much as a person TBH. However, he is a really good professor. He teaches his course well and cares about students understanding every bit of the info. He makes statistics simple. Went from a C+ in QNM2222 to an A in big part to his teaching.

Floyd may come off as slightly strict and intimidating, but he's a prof who truly takes his work seriously and wants his students to excel. If you pay attention in his class, put your phone away, and do the homework he assigns in class, he will respect you.

Floyd is an awesome prof! He makes the class very fun and he is really funny! Make sure you do the homework and attempt the practice test because if you do not do it, he will get mad, so make sure you attempt it and it ok to make mistake. Overall, a great professor

I don't know if he is not a good prof. or the course itself doesn't make any sense. he explains everything very fast and his hand writing is bad too, so if English is not your mother tongue, then you'll have problems. if you attend every class and listen carefully to him and do all the homework, you might be ok and get a B or something similar.

He's alright. Always late to class. He's quite loud which I guess kinda helps to make you focus! he'll help you as much as you can! He's funny and tries to speak in many different languages. Just make sure you do your homework or he'll get mad.

Floyd really cares about his students. He wants everyone to understand what he teaches but when you ask him questions, he gets mad and expects you that you should have understood the lecture. He gets angry when his students are not doing homework(understandable), take pictures of the notes he wrote on the board, and miss his class.

But, i learned a lot from his general tips and life advice rather than a course. if you show up his class and do his homework, you should be walked away an easy A

If you can stand his jokes, which a lot of the time I didn't find funny, he is the teacher to choose. There is no better teacher for QNM222/444. Although he didn't post much on the online Blackboard system, if you can do the practice tests he posts, you should be fine for the test. Also, he cares about his students understanding the material.
