Fun and easy course! I Didn't even buy a text. His notes sucked, but he explained everything in class well enough for the exams, which were very easy and predictable.

Very Nice elderly Gentleman. A bit on the boring/mono-tone side but his exams are easy. He dosent expect the student to know stupid little unimportant details like many other profs at MUN. His notes r a bit shabby. It's like playing pictionary.lol..they're only pictures, he dont write down any words..at all!! but an excellent man. Prof Reccommended

Such a cute man! Super nice and is always willing to help you. Although his notes are not that good, his tests and exams are extremely easy and its really not that difficult to get an A in the course.

I thought his teaching was horrible, he just rambles on and on. It was so hard to keep track of where he was in the syllabus. I had a real interest in astronomy before taking the course, but the book and class were sooo boring! NOT RECOMMENDED! Especially since it is only an elective.

Really nice man! Friendly and approachable. However, for anybody that has been outta school for any period of time, they might have trouble with this course as his notes are just pictures. Trying to put words to the pictures can be difficult depending upon ones prior knowledge of high school sciences. I would have prefered notes.

Great teacher. You can tell he loves what he does. Tries to make jokes to keep everyone awake. likes to draw little pictures rather then writing it in words... good if you're more of a visual person. great teacher over all the labs were fun too.

he is very sweet ! his calss is enjoyable! the only ppl that dont like him are ppl that dont know how to take notes ! and his diagrams are because you cant discribe what he is drawing as well as you can draw it.. So if your lazy get someone else but if you are serious about your education he is excellent and this is an easy course

The material is very interesting; however, lectures are pretty dry. He's a nice guy with a few good jokes, but the classes are tiresome. Read the book and you'll do fine.
