Very kind-hearted. Unfortunately hard to understand. Class took complaints to head of SJU history department - the dean of Arts ignored the problem. He retired after our semester. Grades were arbitrarily given, terribly difficult to understand, no alternative help/resources. assignments & midterms were completely random. it was time for retirement.

He is the best prof I have ever had in my life. I love him. I'm going to take absolutely ever class he teaches cause he is hilarious and kind. He loves his subjects, and demonstrates such passion for laws and other things that could be quite boring. I never skipped a class.

Absolutely no chronology to his lectures, jumps all over the place, most of the time he merely cites dates and names that have no relevance, has a bad lisp, I'm a history major, he's the worst history teacher I've had, so incredibly boring, if you're a bible thumper you'll like him
