I think a lot of people are too tough on Sra. Chaudhary. I took Spanish 223 (intensive int.), and so of course there was a fair amount of homework (online and paper). Her tests are pretty tough, honestly, but that is my only real complaint. She discusses a lot in class, and as long as you pay attention and study hard, and you'll be fine.

Do not take it for an easy A. Try to take another Spanish professor if at all possible. She is a terrible teacher. Sometimes you have to learn the content on your own. Often times as soon as you learn new material, you will immediately be tested on it the following class period.

LOVE her! She was such a nice lady who really cares about if you learn. Sometimes it is hard to understand her but just ask questions and she will clear things up. Expect homework because thats how to learn this language but very easy grader!!!!

Very nice lady who is trying to help you learn. However, her english is very poor. Also, be prepared for a lot of work. Homework WILL make or break your grade. Multiple assignments every day. However, do well on those and your able to recover from tests (which are very hard but worth very little in comparison)In short, take another teacher.

Overall, the class is a lot of busy work, just like 123. She's not always clear, and she was corrected by class members on more than one occasion, but she will work with you if something comes up. She's not the easiest grader, and will take off quite a few points for minor mistakes. I don't regret taking it, but be prepared for a tough semester.

Excellent teacher! More than willing to help whenever you need it. It's a lot of work, but she gives worksheets that spell everything out. Much better than the 211 professor I had! If you get a chance, take her class!

She did a great job helping when you asked for it. Like any other teacher you have to TAKE THE TIME to meet with her. If you talk to her or ask questions she's more than willing to help. I went in w/ a huge gap and her homework and classwork helped me succeed.

Everyone's comments about this lady are so mean. I took the intensive 223 with ZERO background or knowledge in spanish. I am going to end up with a B which I consider awesome! Yea, it is a lot of work but nothing you can't do. She uses some English to make sure you understand. Wonderful spanish teacher. Ignore the other comments.

She is so much better than my 211 teacher. She gives quizzes and worksheets that are actually really helpful in learning the material. She is sometimes hard to understand, but she is a really good teacher. I thought she'd be super hard, but she is pretty good after all. Plus, she's a pretty easy grader.

I had her for 211 and 212 for the intensive course and it is rather difficult. It is A LOT of work. She grades sort of difficult, taking off full credit on problems for minor problems. I'm not really her biggest fan, however she is a nice lady. I believe she would try to help you as much as she can, but sometimes it's still not enough.

She is not a hard teacher, but yes she can be difficult to understand. She gives 1 or 2 assignments per class usually. Like an exercise and a worksheet. AVOID if you are just looking to get your Spanish credits (like me) And even if you are looking to go further in spanish I would also avoid. Tests/quizes are pretty straightforward. Regret taking.
