First of all the entire Spanish program at UMass is terrible. I couldn't understand a word he said, he spoke only in Spanish in my class but it was a first semester class.. we didn't speak spanish.. how was I supposed to understand anything? I eventually got fed up with his lack of teaching and got permission from my dean for a late withdrawal.

He was consistently unprepared for class and with reading assignments and homework. Office hours were not helpful and he used it as an opportunity to hit on me. Avoid this class at all costs.

I'm not sure why he gets a bad rep. I took a class of his last winter @UofM and loved it so much that I signed up for another one with him this fall! He's got a great personality, and makes class fun and interesting.

he has his moments...some times he says AMAZING things...but unfortunately they may not have to do with the class. Hes a good guy, but recently rubbed me the wrong way. I dont think his classes are the worst though :)
