Wow, he does not use d2l and i asked him lots of time to see my grade and he does not understand me because of my accent. He said dont worry you will pass if you doing good on the final, and I did not pass the class even though I did good on the final exam. Very bad professor, and should stop teaching and relax

Must have been a great professor 20 years ago but clearly not now, as he tends to forget what he is doing in class, and sometimes talks about stuff covered the day before. A lot of people started skipping because they couldn't bare him. Optional homework and final grade is based on 3 tests, attendance, and final exam which counts as 2 tests.

This guy is the worst at teaching. He gets stuck in the middle of a problem, and the examples he worked in class are only the easy ones, and the exams are comepletely different from the easy examples he does in class. The only good thing about this guy is that he allows a 1 page cheat sheet, whereas most calc professors dont allow it.

I got a 30 Math on the ACT, and took a calc class my senior year of high school, right before taking this class. Was absolutly terrible at working with students, and would get frustrated when we wouldn't understand the subject within 5 mins of teaching it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I took a calculus test. I felt decently prepared. while I am not perfect with calculus, I felt confident that I scored at least 70%. When I got my test back, it said 0%. He gave no partial credit , even though my answers were very similar to solution key. when I met with him at his office he was mad I was interrupting him. Avoid at all costs

I don't understand how on earth anybody gave this dude a good rating. He talks so quietly, writes his notes extremely small, makes many mistakes and freezes up awkwardly while teaching. He just copies down examples from the book onto the board and doesn't follow up with the class. Nobody can even follow his lectures enough to ask him a good questio

Dr. Francis Hannick got me started on a good note toward a major in mathematics. This lead later to a master's degree in the same subject. He encouraged me to pursue a doctoral degree as well stating that he felt a person should go as far as they can. His positive influence definitely contributed to my success making a career in this field.

His classes are easy just as long as you show up and take notes. For a test just do some problems from your previous homework and you should do fine. The only problem is sometimes he gets stuck in the problem he's doing but I see it as a learning factor since I point out the mistakes and I feel like I understand the material better.

He was an amazing math teacher. His lectures translate directly to exams so make sure to study your notes. Although higher level math classes can be challenging he made this class quite easy. He is always available to help and is very caring towards his student. The best part about his class is all of the partial credit he gives on exams!!

He is a very helpful teacher. If you go into him he will help you with any struggles you are having. His test consisted of fairly easy questions and give good partial credit. If you show up and pay attention you will have an easy time with his class

Grades are based off basically 4 tests and attendance. Attendance is taken at random, but if you do the homework and go to class you'll be fine. He seems kind of unapproachable, but he'll help if you need it. His teaching style is saying the definition and doing some examples, so if you have matching learning styles it'll be even better for you.

assigns homework but does not need to be turned in so most people don't complete it. this is the reason a lot of good math people do poorly in his class. lectures are not too bad but he get confused and seems unprepared so you waste a lot of class time figuring out how he mess up his example. I'm an "A" math student and I failed his calc 2 class.

It feels like he is talking to himself during the lectures. He uses very few examples. He also has a condescending tone that makes you not want to ask him anything. He made way too many mistakes. Doesn't grade well I spent my time gathering test topics from class and learning them on KhanAcademy. Not getting bored was next to impossible.

I dropped this class because I could not understand the professor at all. I went to him for help on multiple occasions and was blown off for one reason or another. He had all of the problems prewritten down before class and would make mistakes multiple times throughout the day. I need examples to learn and all he was offering up were proofs.

super hard to pay attention to in class, gives one or two examples in class which make the homework impossible to do if you don't understand his notes... which are straight from the book.... word for word.

The test averages have been 41%, 40%, and 32%. He told the class that it was our fault that we are failing and has never made an adjustment to how he is teaching even with the horrendous test scores. He also does not curve.

BORING! He basically copies the textbook on the board for notes and does practice problems, making at least 1 mistake every day. He talks like a robot and grades very harshly. Might be my least favorite professor.

The entire class just failed the first test and he didn't curve at all. Nobody follows him well enough to even formulate questions during class. He expects that everyone should remember everything they've learned from all previous math classes. I have to pry help from him during office hours. I have to use the book to decipher his class notes.
