Dr. Lee is a fantastic teacher who cares about his students. Calculus is difficult, but if you attend class Dr. Lee sets you up for success. His tests are fair as he gives you an idea of the types of problems to be expected. There isnt any surprises. The previous comment about notes doesnt really make sense, since he is very clear about exams.

I attended class everyday for the fall semester, but the material is so hard to grasp. There's a lot of expectations, as I'm looking through my notes it is hard to follow because there are missing step by step procedures to find the answer.

Strength: He explains well and cares students learning. Humorous while teaching mathematics. Approachable. Weakness: He has an asian accent, stutters a lot, and talks really fast. But I caught up in two weeks. Br aware heavy homework - assigned homework problems every sections.

Don't take On tests, if you get one thing wrong you get like no points. And there are only 3 test and each test is 25% or more of your grade.

He's very nickpicky about how you get to the answer. Like, if you have an "x" for your multiplication symbol instead of a dot, he'll count it as mathematically incorrect and you'll lose all your points even if your steps are correct and have the correct answer. It gets very frustrating sometimes.

Professor Lee is a good professor and will teach you a lot. He does have an accent which can be hard to understand at first but you will get used to it. He is a very tough grader and will take points off for little mistakes. His tests are EXACT problems from the homework. He is funny which makes class enjoyable.

Best teacher and class ever... ignore the reviews saying it's hard. The class is a breeze provided you actually show up, take notes, and at least flip through the note the night before the test. It really is awesome and interesting... especially for non math majors

Great professor & has a heart of gold. Lectures are actually engaging 80% of the time as he goes off on interesting tangents. Has an accent, but very clear. No problems. Homework wasn't always mandatory, but you can skip studying for tests if you just do the homework. Tests were similar to homework, if not easier. No quizzes at the time.

dr lee is OK as a math teacher. however, he tries too many things: homework for every chapter, group project, computer lab, ... makes you busy all semester long. he has some asian accent but understandable. he ask tough questions in test and a tough grader. no extra credits to the students.

Dr Lee is a respected guy, however I found that his teaching style did not help me. He expects students to know a lot and his examples are confusing. Very harsh grader. His exams are fair, but for me I counted on other resources to understand the materials. Group projects don't make sense.
