He's a decent guy at heart. You will need to teach yourself outside of class how to do the work for the tests. Don't need to take final if you have an A or A- average. the class was basically a review for me. i relearned everything from AP calculus in high school. he allows an entire sheet of notes on tests. easy if you took AP Calc in highschool. avoid if you did not.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. i have had to teach myself out of the book the entire semester. he dosent teach and rambles about students skipping class and dancing in the tulips. if you are one of those kids that is already good at math and have found it easy in high school this will be the easiest A ever. dont be in this class and be bad at math.

Talks in a nice quiet voice then begins yelling as if the class has commited some sort of unforgivable crime against humanity. it is apparent that he has had many students go through the military since he reminds us basically daily that you dont grow brains in the military... Avoid if at all possible...

Not worth having as a professor. His teaching methods are distracting with his overdone emotional yelling about how the class is a group of people on skateboards and cigaretts. He doesn't teach, but writes random nonesense on the board. Can't rely on him to learn something. His time is done and it it time for him to retire.

Good guy, and yeah he does yell. thats just cause you stupid kids don't understand how passionate he is about you learning the material. He wants to help you but he wants to make clear he doesn't like when you ask questions if your too lay to go to class...He's great and does NOT need to retire!

Kinda boring class for me and relatively slow paced, but professor is fair. Tests are not bad and all problems are covered in class...you just have to stay attentive. I didn't like this class because it is engineer oriented and was I misled into taking it; I'm in the design program actually.

I did not find this professor to be helpful at all, knows his stuff but teaches in a manner of just yelling at everyone in the class. If you need help he makes students feel stupid and that they should already know the material. Yells at students who ask questions in class. Time to retire...
