Prof. Frank is one of the best professors at Umass. I took more than one class with him, and he really knows more about brazilian, portuguese and african literature than anyone I've ver knwon. He's very generous, and is always willing to help. Amazing professor!

Very passionate and knowledgeable about course material. Amazing and compassionate professor. Assigns a manageable workload. Invited our class to his house, took us out to eat, ordered pizza--very generous. Dedicated to helping his students. Will definitely take more classes with him in the future.
