I learned a lot. I'm not an SJ stuent, but as a School Psych stuent, I thought the course content was very valuable in informing me about issues that are highly relevant to schol psych work. I'm glad I had to take it -- didn't think it was "wishy-washy" at all. It's complex, that's all.

Excellent teacher. Too many of the SJ students want therapy, not education. This guy actually keeps the focus on education. There were some students who got put off because they wanted to use the rest of us to do their therapy - and to his credit, he doesn't let that happen. Take a class with him.

Really excellent readings. Knows how to work with graduate students -- doesn't dumb stuff down. Gives a lot of feedback on papers. He's kind of serious and intense but you'll learn lots.
