Sex psych was one of the most interesting and enjoyable classes ive taken at slu. very interesting and gilner is willing to help you individually if you need more explanation. texts can be a little tough but if go to class and get at least c's on all the tests he'll give you an A in the class

Dr. Gilner is in one word: awesome! As a professor, he is open to questions and willing to help. As a person, he is funny and charasmatic. I would recommend him for any class, but Marital Relations was highly entertaining and more informative than the average college student might think. Get to know him, he will actually remember who you are!

I had a blast in this class! Dr. Gilner made it so fun to learn about sexuality! Exams were fairly easy (as long as you study). No essays, but does offer extra credit. High recommended!!!!

Dr. Gilner is a good professor and a funny guy. He has no problems talking about the more awkward aspects of the course, and he kept things entertaining. The course is so easy, however, that it became difficult to pay attention in class. Extra credit available can bring your grade up by over 10%!!!

Gilner's great. Interesting class, and quite easy. He takes attendance at the beginning of class which for such a huge class takes like 15 minutes--quite annoying. Otherwise, he's awesome.

Sex Psych class.Dr. Gilner is the easiest teacher on the face of the earth. He lets you do gobs of extra credit, and everyone i know got an A. Didn't pay attention in class, just looked over ppts for an hour before tests, and got a 96 in class. Extra credit can raise your grade nearly two letter grades. AWESOME>>>TAKE HIM

Dr. Gilner is an excellent professor! He was really nice and very entertaining. The only think that I did not like about the class was that he took attendance and there were over 100 people in the class...weird... But other than that it was a great class and I highly recommend any class he teaches!

This class is basically like a stand up comedy hour every day lol...he is hilairious to listen to during the lectures...one bit of advice: READ THE BOOK! The tests come out of the book material a lot! Have fun, its a fun class and a good laugh!

Dr. Gilner is a wonderful professor. I think his teaching style is great and he really engages the class in each lecture. He is very silly but it really works for this class because talking about sex in a room of 300 can get a bit akward, he is really good at loosening up the tension. I reccommend this class to everyone and the tests are easy.

Awesome teacher. Test aren't thaaat hard, but he gives enough extra credit that it is very possible to make an A. He is very funny in calss and very fair with grades, kind, and helpful in all aspects. Take this class. Also, notes are online so you don't have to take them...just make sure you study.
