Very nice guy and cares about the course material. If you show up to class you will be set for the midterm and final. Gives out midterm and final questions in lecture along with basic answers before the tests. If you add details from lecture notes to his answers you will get an easy A in the course. It also helps that he enjoys lecturing.

Frank is the best prof! Not at all showing off about his research. His genius interest is helpful in the most boring topics. The course structure is so good... one midterm, one paper.

Excellent Prof. Lectures are clear and to the point. Practically gives you the exam questions to study from. Term paper is somewhat difficult, but it helps if you go ask him for advise (such as what books to read for you topic). He also has a great personality and seems to care about students

BEST PROF EVER! Everyone thinks the class will be boring but it really isn't. If you study hard for exams (ie memorize EVERYTHING) then it is possible to get low 90s despite what some say. Just an all-around good prof although he does have a bit of a staring problem.

very helpful; passionate about topics; however the course was just uninteresting. Can't blame him for boring material, however could alter lectures to steer away from 1.5 hours of number dropping and equation building that are irrelevant come test/paper time.

Overall nice guy teaching a VERY BORING class. Think about it this way, tell any of his students to teach that material and most of the class will still either skip or fall asleep, so you can't really blame Lewis for that...

One of the best prof @ Queen's econ. V. knowlegable and willing to help ppl after class; tests given are sort of mid-difficulty. For his class, don't need to read the "required reading". Stick closely to his notes will give you at least 85.

his exams are a LOT harder than the past exams with Byron teaching. Don't read the paper in his class or he'll yell at you. Not a bad class, not great either, but hey, you've got to get your 2 econ history credits right?
