Have Math degree. Took Grad EDU classes at WC while working F/T. My BS didn't include 1 required class at WCU so he ridiculed me & my alma mater (respected Univ). He demanded I take the missing class at WCU even tho it was only offered during day. When I asked if I could take elsewhere he got nasty and told me to leave WCU.

such a hard class for even a math wiz. if you dont already know math well, DONT TAKE HIM. he doesnt allow calculators, and his tests are jokes. he puts problems just to you dont go over because "you should know them". i still got an A, but it wasnt easy.

Teaches pretty good, knows what he?s doing, but when it comes to tests he tries to make it impossible to pass. He says he gives partial credit, but last time I checked he takes more points away then gives more points. He acts like its 1959 still to where he won't let the use of calculators or note cards. There is no review sheet either.

Worst professor and worst grade I ever had. Never took the time to explain the problems he did. Always stood in the way of what he wrote on the board. He erased the work on the board quickly and moved way too fast for an algebra and trig class. If your having trouble with this class and cannot get a tutor, withdrawl or drop before it is too late.

Although his syllabus CLEARLY stated that he would give us one week before a test, he once gave us a test on Thursday after announcing it on Tuesday. When we told him that he never told us that we had an upcoming test and that we weren't prepared for a "surprise test", he told us oh well and too bad.

so many people complain about him but i think hes great. he gives a review sheet before exams and he goes over a million examples in class so it is hard to get lost if you ask a question. and he welcomes questions. people complain he doesnt use blackboard...but hes an oldy!
